Origins
The concept for this project first came about in 2018 when the founder was lecturing a group of criminology students. What she thought everyone knew about online safety and cybercrime was not as common knowledge asshe had presumed. Knowing that increased interconnectivity and other advances in technology will also lead to an increase in crime opportunities, she was concerned that so many users of technology, such as individuals and small business, do not have the basic knowledge they need to keep themselves safe online.
